We’re from Texas and absolutely loved this restaurant! We’d been wanting some home flavored food, and Mi Hacienda really hit the spot! ¡100% recomendado para los del 956! Buen servicio y buena comida!
Food is great but felt portions could have been better for those prices but the service and ambience were great.
Mi Hacienda is the absolute BEST Mexican restaurant in Starkville!!! We’ve tried them all. We also like La Terraza, too....but Mi Hacienda is our favorite! We love Mi Hacienda’s thin, hot tortilla chips, and delicious salsa!! The chicken and shredded beef entrees are my favorites. The atmosphere is very inviting as well!

From the time we were seated to the moment dessert was served ... Tony treated us as if we were the only guests in the restaurant (and that certainly was not the case - Mi Hacienda was packed) !! Spicy & creamy - delicious & crunchy - sweet & memorable are the adjectives our table decided "best described" the appetizer - entrees - desserts :) And the place is all decked out for the holidays !!

I came here with a friend while visiting Starkville on a Friday evening. Even though the place was packed, we were seated promptly. While some things moved slower, I blame that on the crowd that was there. Our servers were still very nice, patient, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. I got the #65, which was chicken with mushrooms, fajita veggies, and covered in cheese sauce. It came with rice, beans, and lettuce. The meal was fantastic and I left feeling comfortably stuffed. All and all, I’d happily come back to this place. The service was great, the food was better, and the drinks were cheap.
Food was awesome! Our waiter was pretty attentive to our table and made sure to refill everything. I feel like you can make a meal with the tamales alone. 3 for 2 is a deal! They're pretty thick too, so you may want a little extra sauce. Chips are lighter and more fresh/taste better than the other restaurants. Very pleased with my skillet. I like the decorations and music too. The drink cups are massive!
